• Americanism, Nationalism & Democratic Initiatives (ANDI)

  • ANDI is a set of civic values that are woven through the culture of our school district. These civic values provide guidance to how our buildings operate on a day-to-day basis and helps solidify the foundation for strategic planning. Although the civic values are listed as Americanism, Nationalism, and Democratic Initiatives; what they promote is a sense of pride and honoring tradition by having an understanding of the different functions of American society. These civic values culminate to a course that all students are enrolled in their Senior year. The course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, structure, and functions of the American political system. It explores the foundational elements of citizenship, including the practice of democracy. Students will develop skills to be informed and engaged citizens of the United States of America. 
ANDI
