Curriculum and InstructionMuhlenberg School District is invested in offering a curriculum that is directly aligned to our district's "Blueprint for Success". At the core of the "Blueprint for Success" are our students. Core areas that impact our students, related to Curriculum and Instruction, are as follows:LiteracyStructured Literacy backed by the Science of Reading with a focus on foundational skills. This leads into students' ability to be critical thinkers as their level of comprehension develops into their secondary experience.Arts, Music, HumanitiesPrograms offered focus on the holistic growth and development of each student while also addressing the Social-Emotional needs of today's students.STEMPrograms related to STEM offer experiences in learning which encourages students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.All programs are under a constant review process to ensure that there is vertical and horizontal alignment to the PA Academic Standards. The review process also ensures that the best teaching practices are utilized to support our content and our students.Instructional methods are utilized to reach the diverse level of learners, including student's interests as well as their ability.
