    COVID-Unvaccinated students that travel OUTSIDE the United States must quarantine a minimum of 7 days upon return.  Please see the Global Health Alert below (This includes US territories American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.)

    Fully COVID-Vaccinated students do not need to quarantine after international travel:

    • FULLY vaccinated means departure to your destination was more than 2 weeks after the second dose of a 2-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna) OR 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen)
    • Recommended that the student gets tested with a COVID viral test 3-5 days after return
    • Self-monitor for illness symptoms for a full 14 days; isolate and get tested if you become ill.

    ***A parent/guardian MUST contact the student's building School Nurse prior to the student returning to Muhlenberg School District to get return-to-school guidance after any travel OUTSIDE the United States.***

    Those who travel between states do not need testing or quarantine.

    Those traveling to Puerto Rico who are fully COVID-Vaccinated do not need testing or quarantine.
