Welcome to the district! Pick up an enrollment packet at the location below, or print out a copy of the packet from the district website.
Once the packet is complete, and you have the supporting documents, please contact the office to schedule an in-person appointment.

Central Registration has an office located by the tennis courts and CE Cole gym. You can enter at 3630 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Once you enter the parking lot, follow the road behind the CE Cole school and public library. There is a separate brick building with blue trim called the Blue Center. We have a side entrance marked "Central Registration".
In order to enroll a new student in the Muhlenberg School District, please call the School Registrar. An appointment is required. A parent/guardian must be present in order for a student to be enrolled. A child enrolling in first grade must have completed a kindergarten program or be six years old on or before August 31 to be admitted in the fall.
Except for Kindergarten, no registrations will be accepted for the next school year until the day after the last student day of the current school year. For example, students in grades 1-12 who wish to register for the 2026-2027 school year, cannot register until June 8, 2026.
Please bring the following documents at the time of registration:

Birth certificate
A current year’s Property Tax Bill, most recent month’s Mortgage Statement, or original Recorded Deed in your name showing residents' property or an original signed lease/rental agreement identifying the student(s) as a tenant; and one of the following:
a. Proof of residency from the County Registrar of Voters; or
b. Current vehicle registration showing residence property address; or
c. Utility bill in your name for the current month showing residents' property address (cell phone bill is not a utility); or
d. Check stubs/statement from wages, public assistance, or Social Security showing residents' property address.
