Hello,

My name is Kaitlynn Girard.I have been working at Muhlenberg Elementary Center for 6 years. Before coming to Muhlenberg, I taught for the Reading School District for 4 years, where I spent 2 years in second grade and 2 years in third grade.

I graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2010. Once I had my full-time teaching job in Reading and experience, I started  my graduate work at Cabrini.  I graduated from Cabrini with a Master’s Degree in Education and an English as a Second Language Certification in May 2018. It was a lot of work, but well worth it for the knowledge in English as a Second Language  I gained. Last year I switched from teaching 2nd grade to teaching English as a Second Language. I am learning a lot but loving my new position! 

I married my husband, Corey, in January 2016 and added to our family in 2018 with the birth of our twin boys Jamison and Emerson! They are a handful but I am so lucky to be their mom! I love going shopping, spending time with my family, drinking coffee, and going to the pool and beach!
