Hi!  My name is Jessica Leffler.  I'm one of the Physical Education Teachers here at MEC!  This is my 18th year at MEC.  I'm a graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in Health and Physical Education as well as a double Master's degree from Wilkes University.

I love my job and I'm passionate about what I teach so my goal is to always have that shine through in my lessons!  I pride myself on my ability to develop fun and creative activities that spark a desire to learn and grow for my students.

My goal is never to make Olympic Athletes out of my students but rather to ignite, foster and develop skills that will allow them to continue to lead healthy lifestyles well beyond elementary school.

Our Physical Education program includes a variety of activities designed to give our students a very well rounded experience to health and fitness concepts.  Team sports, individual sports, dance, fitness, team building and much more are packed into our dynamic lessons!

Tips to make Physical Education Class awesome:

    1.  Wear sneakers!

    2.  Wear clothing you can move and groove in!

    3.  Long hair should be tied back.

    4.  If your child has an injury or illness please send along a note.

    5.  Come to class ready to work hard and have fun!
