Education

I am a graduate of Daniel Boone High School. I continued my education at Muhlenberg College. I graduated with a degree in sociology and elementary education. I did my student teaching in the Allentown and Parkland School Districts and worked in the East Penn School District for 5 years. In the East Penn School District, I taught 2nd and 4th grades. I earned my Master's Degree from Kutztown University. I took several years off from teaching to be home with my young children. I returned to the classroom as a third grade teacher at Muhlenberg Elementary Center. After teaching third grade for 8 years, I moved to kindergarten. This will be my 18th year teaching kindergarten!! I am looking forward to an exciting year!

Personal

I live with my husband in Exeter. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach and watching movies. I enjoy cooking, reading and gardening. We have two grown sons.  Our oldest son is a graduate of Temple University and is working in Utah. Our youngest son is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and lives and works in Pittsburgh.
