Hi!  My name is Jessica Heintzman.  I am proud to be part of the MEC Kindergarten team.  Most importantly, I am so thrilled to be your child's teacher!

This will be my 15th year teaching, with the majority of the time in full-day Kindergarten.  This will be my 1st full year here at MEC!! Before coming to MEC, I taught in the Reading School District.  I graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Education.  I later received ESL certificate from Alvernia University.  

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband, Jonathan.  We have a daughter and a son who are now both in college! We also have a dog named Cookie and two cats, Griffin and Gideon.  In my spare time, I like to read, and participate in local theater! 

Kindergarten is a year of exploration, discovery and new adventures! I look forward to working with you and your kindergartner and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!
