This is my 5th year of teaching. I taught 3rd and 1st grade in Maryland for two years. I decided to move home and came here to Muhlenberg to teach 4th grade. I graduated from Conrad Weiser, and received my Associates in Early Childhood Education from Reading Area Community College. I went on to complete my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Kutztown University, and returned to KU for my Masters in Reading which I received this past May.
Outside of school, I love to spend time with friends and family. I enjoy listening to and playing music. I play guitar, hand bells, and can plunk out a note or two on the piano. I also enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, painting/art, and being out in nature. I have a pet rabbit named Artemis, but I used to have pet rats. I also have a pet parakeet.
