Hello all!

My name is Mrs. Wenzel and this will be my first year teaching Gifted at MEC and Cole K-6. I will also be teaching Gifted at the Junior High for 7th and 8th grade. This will be my 8th year in the MSD. For the last 7 years I taught high school and junior high social studies. The courses I taught were World Cultures, American Cultures, Advanced Placement United States History, Civics, and Geography. I am a graduate of Muhlenberg High School myself, and went on to receive my degree in secondary education with a concentration in social studies at Kutztown Universty...Go Golden Bears! I have also obtained my Masters Degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University, as well as,18 additional credits towards my continuing education as a teacher. Outside of school I enjoy crafting, going on walks, reading on my Kindle, spending time with my husband and family, including my pets Ellie, Zeppy, Lucy, and Winnie!

My gifted office is currently located in the MEC Library. Students will be walked to and from gifted on their designated days and times of the cycle. You can find me at MEC/Cole on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and the JH on Monday/Wednesday each week.
