Thanks for visiting! Here is a little information about me. I grew up in Phoenixville, PA. After I graduated high school I attended the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate degree and my graduate degree in an accelerated, 5 year program. After attending college, I came back to Berks County and received two long-term substitute learning support positions before I was hired at Muhlenberg Elementary Center as a second grade teacher. I taught second grade at MEC for three years and then moved to 4th grade. It is currently my 2nd year in 4th grade however now I am only teaching ELSA and my partner teacher, Mrs. Freese, will be teaching math and science.
I currently live with my fiance Matt who is in the Air National Guard and works at ADT. We have 3 dogs (Archie, Copper, Ziggy) and 5 cats (Stella, Batman, Bear, Baby Cat, and Melly). They are all rescues and I am very involved at the Berks County Animal Rescue League when I am not teaching. I also am very involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as my younger brother Troy was a Make-A-Wish kiddo when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lmyphoma. I have never wanted anything more than to become a teacher and I am looking forward to learning and growing WITH your children!
