Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Mrs. Cary Beavens-Rowe. I received my B.S. degree in Special Education and Elementary Education at Kutztown University. I worked as a Learning Support Teacher in the Fleetwood Area School District for a year. Twenty-three years ago I came to Muhlenberg and worked as the Lifeskills Support Teacher for grades three, four, and five. I taught Lifeskills for four years before moving to a different position teaching Learning Support. I taught Learning Support for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade for five years. I taught Learning Support for fourth grade for two years, for third grade for one year, for fourth grade for five years and for third/fourth grade for one year, and moved back to fourth grade where I have been for years. This is my twenty third at Muhlenberg and I will teach fourth grade Learning Support. I love teaching and am looking forward to another great year!!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married, have three children, and a dog. My husband Michael works for Carpenter Technology. My daughter, Brianna, is a senior at Muhlenberg High School and plays volleyball, and throws for track. My son Brandon is in sixth grade at CEC. He plays baseball and basketball for MTAA. My son Brogan is in fourth grade at Cole. He plays baseball and basketball for MTAA. My dog's name is Mara and she is a Redbone Coonhound. We are a very busy family but if there is time I love scrapbooking too.
