• Welcome to Physical Education!

My name is Mr. Angove and I teach Physical Education at C.E. Cole Intermediate School.

I have a Bachelors (Hons) Degree from the University of Worcester (England) in Sport Studies with Associated Art & Design, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Secondary Physical Education from the University College of St. Mark & St John (England), and a Masters Degree in Educational Development & Strategies from Wilkes University.

I immigrated to the United States in 2008 from England, where I was a middle and high school Health and Physical Education teacher for 8 years. Before joining the Muhlenberg School District in 2013, I taught Health and Physical Education Grades K-6 in West Philadelphia for 3 years.

My P.E. classes are fast paced, very active, and a lot of fun. I love to incorporate music into my lessons for student motivation.  Students will learn the individual and team skills necessary to successfully and safely perform in a variety of sports and physical activities; they will also learn the basic reasons why regular physical activity is important for leading a healthy life.

My other main role in the Muhlenberg School District is that of High School Varsity Boys Head Soccer Coach.  This is a position that I love, because it means that I get to work with students from our Middle School and High School, as well as PE teaching at the MEC; therefore, I get to work with students throughout the district.  I played and coached a lot of soccer growing up in England, it really is a huge part of our culture over there; however, my first sport was cricket.  Cricket is played in the USA, but teams are few and far apart, so my main hobby now is playing lead guitar in two local rock bands.

I look forward to teaching and coaching all of our students here in the Muhlenberg School District this year, and beyond.
