    In order to enroll a new student in the Muhlenberg School District, please call the appropriate School Registrar to schedule an appointment. Registration is by appointment only.  Refer to the above school listing to determine what number to call for your registration appointment. If you are enrolling multiple students into different buildings, contact the school of the oldest child.  At this particular building is where the documentation will be collected and reviewed for ALL enrollees.  A Kindergarten child must be five years old on or before August 31 to be admitted in the fall. A child enrolling in first grade must have completed a kindergarten program or be six years old on or before August 31 to be admitted in the fall. With the exception of Kindergarten, no registrations will be accepted for the next school year until the day after the last student day of the current school year. For example, a student in grades 1-12 who wishes to register for the 2018-2019 school year, you cannot register until June 6, 2018.

    Please bring the following documents at the time of registration:

    • Two proofs of residency (see below)
    • Immunization records
    • Report cards or a transcript
    • Discipline records - If there are no discipline records, we need a letter from the school stating that the student does not have any discipline records.
    • IEP
    • Birth certificate

    If you own/rent property in the school district, please bring:

    1. A Property Tax Bill, Mortgage Statement or Recorded Deed in your name showing residence property or the signed original lease/rental agreement; and
    2. One of the following items listed below:
      1. Proof of residency from the County Registrar of Voters; or
      2. Current vehicle registration showing residence property address; or
      3. Utility bill in your name for the current month showing residence property address (cell phone bill is not a utility); or
      4. Check stubs/statement from wages, public assistance, or Social Security showing residence property address.

    If you are sharing a home with another individual or family in the school district, please bring;

    1. The Certificate of Residency signed by the primary resident of the home and subscribed and sworn before a Notary Public and;
    2. Two of the items listed below within 30 days:
      1. Proof of residency from the County Registrar of Voters; or
      2. Current vehicle registration showing residence property address; or
      3. Utility bill in your name for the current month showing residence property address (cell phone bill is not a utility); or
      4. Check stubs/statement from wages, public assistance, or Social Security showing residence property address.

    A parent/guardian must be present in order for a student to be enrolled.
