    Dear Parents,

         As you know, one of our most important goals this year is to help your child gain excellent reading skills.  As with any skill, reading skills must be exercised.  The more kids read, the better they read.  And that means they need to read at home as well as at school.

    Our class uses Scholastic Reading Club-Kindergarteners.  Scholastic Reading Club-Kindergarteners offers children in Kindergarten and First Grade a wide range of appealing high-quality books to choose from at parent-friendly prices. 

    Ordering from Scholastic Reading Club-Kindergarteners is OPTIONAL.  I will send a monthly catalog home with selections and a due date.  If you decide to purchase books from the book clubs complete the order form on the back of the flyer along with a CHECK made payable to Scholastic Book Clubs.  Cash will not be accepted.
