Meet Mr. Rankin!

Hello! My name is Josh Rankin! First off, and most importantly, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher for the upcoming school year! I am pleased to say that I am a Muhlenberg grad, which I am very proud of! I am proud to be able to say that I graduated from this district and am delighted to say that I have the honor and privilege of coming back and teaching in the school that helped me become who I am. While in Muhlenberg I played three years and was captain my final year for the high school football team along with playing ice hockey for the school. After Muhlenberg, I then went on to Kutztown University where I continued playing hockey and got my degree in Elementary Education. I have plans to start graduate school this fall to get my principal certification. I can't wait to display my love of being a lifelong learner to your child. This is my fourth year teaching at Muhlenberg and I am really looking forward to teaching your child math and science! My partner teacher is Miss Nelson and she will be teaching reading and writing. I can't wait to make the 2019-2020 school year the best yet!

Hockey is my favorite sport, I still continue to play in recreational leagues.

I have two Basset Hounds, Jake and Leo.

While I'm not teaching, I love to cook! I love to be creative and cook different dishes.

In the summer I am a counselor at a camp.

I enjoy working out and I love to play basketball.
