Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Eric Morrison

This is my 20th year at Muhlenberg Middle School and my 21st year teaching overall. I graduated from Villanova University in 1989 with a degree in Communications. In 1999 I started classwork at Penn State Harrisburg toward earning my teaching certificate, finishing in 2001. I spent the 2001-2002 school at Lampeter-Strasburg High School as a long-term substitute. Muhlenberg hired me for the next school year. Along the way I earned my Master's Degree in Education from Penn State Harrisburg as well.

My wife Kathy and I have been married for 28 years. She has her own accounting business at home and babysits our new granddaughter. Our three kids keep us active on the home front. Emily graduated from George Mason with a degree in Criminalogy and is now a Kindergarten teacher in the Annville-Cleona School District. She had a baby girl, Allie, back in May. Greg graduated from Villanova University in 2020, majoring in International Business and Economics. He got married that July and he and his wife now live in Mexico, where they are both pursuing Master's Degrees. Becky is our youngest. When I started at Muhlenberg, she was a newborn. Now she  is a freshman at Penn State-Hazleton, studying to become a physical therapy assistant.

Besides following the kids' activities, I am a big sports fan, especially baseball. Every Memorial Day weekend Greg, Becky, and I go to the Baseball Hall of Fame for their Hall of Fame Classic. I hope to live in Cooperstown and volunteer at the Hall after retiring from teaching. I also am a voracious reader, especially baseball history, mystery and thriller novels, and history and political science.
