Algebra I will be a challenging and rewarding experience! This year I am teaching 8th & 9th grade! This is an important year in your math career. You must come prepared to give your best effort every single day. This not only means to bring your materials and completed work to class every day, but also the correct attitude and frame of mind. Unpreparedness makes it much more difficult to achieve success!
My philosophy is that everybody has the ability to learn math, but some might have to work harder than others. My favorite part of teaching is helping a student achieve success, especially if they have struggled in the past. My door is always open for my students, whether I have them this year or had them in previous years.
