Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Jim Mills
I was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh and graduated from Greensburg Salem in 2005. While in high school I was a member of the golf, basketball, and baseball teams. The following fall I attended Seton Hill University in pursuit of a mathematics degree and a certification to teach 7-12th grade. After graduation in 2009 I was a long-term substitute at Exeter Senior High for two and a half years, and began at Muhlenberg High School in the 2012-13 school year. During the summer of 2016 I finished my Masters degree through Wilkes University in Classroom Technology.
My hobbies include playing guitar, listening to music, watching Pittsburgh sports, and playing golf when the weather cooperates.
I have high expectations for students in my class, so come prepared to work hard and learn a lot.
"If you're trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."
