Classroom Expectations: Students are expected to be prompt, prepared and polite.

Homework: Homework is assigned on a daily basis and is due the next class period. It will be graded based on completeness and effort.

Notebook: Students are required to keep a notebook each quarter. The three ring binder will include all class notes, homework assignments and worksheets in chronological order. A table of contents for your notebook will be kept. The notebook will be checked and graded each quarater.

Absences: Students are responsible to make up any work that is missed. All missing work must be made up within one week of returning. Assignments can be obtained by calling the homework hotiline, or by checking the homeowrk board in the front of the room.

Tests/Quizzes: Students can expect at least one quiz and one test per unit. Students are always told about tests and quizzes in advance.

Grades are based on the following:

Homework 10%,

Classwork/notebook 10%,

Problem of the Day 15%,

Quizzes 20%

Tests 45%.

Extra Credit: Each week a student may earn extra points by completing the problem on the bulletin board in the back of the room. Place the answer in the pocket next to the problem by Friday. Each correct answer is worth 2 points.
