Point of Sale System
The District will operate all cashier functions under a computerized Point of Sale System. All students will have individual accounts and will be identified with an identification number and picture.
Money may be deposited into the student's account. The deposits can be made with a check or cash. Deposits made by check should be for a minimum of $15.00 for paying students and $5.00 for reduced price students. Checks should be made to Muhlenberg School District Cafeteria Account. New this school year, credit card deposits may be made at the CafePrepay.com website. Follow the directions on the website to make a deposit or check your child's cafeteria account balance. The Cafe Prepay website and credit card option will no longer be available for parents to use after 2/1/08. A $20.00 service fee will be charged for returned checks. When a student's account balance reaches $5.00, he/she will be notified, so another deposit may be made to avoid a zero balance. All payments must be made using a cafeteria envelope. These can be obtained at any school office, cafeteria, or the Administration Building. You may print the form below and return in your own envelope. All deposits must be returned for each student individually to that student's school building.
Money left over at the end of the school year will be rolled over to the student's account for the next year. When a student moves out of the school district, a letter will be mailed to the parent informing them of any balance left in the student's account and may be picked up at the school building within two months of the student's departure.
When a student graduates from the High School, any balance left in the student's account will be returned to the student during the last week of the school year.
