MUHLENBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT
2012 SPRING AQUATICS PROGRAM
REGISTRATION: Please bring identification of District Residency
Tuesday March 6th for residents of Muhlenberg School District only and Wednesday March 7th for residents and all others, from 6:00-8:00pm in the Pool Lobby at the High School. Registration for classes will be taken by phone after these dates, depending on availability; some classes fill quickly so don’t wait too long to sign up. All activities require a minimum number of participants in order for them to run. Proper swim attire is required.
There is an additional $5.00 fee for Non-Residents interested in any classes, except Recreational Swimming, which is only offered to residents of the Muhlenberg School District.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS CLASSES ARE CANCELLED!
Payment: ALL CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO MUHLENBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT
SWIMMING LESSONS
There will be “three” 3 week sessions to choose from:
1st Session: March 12th to March 29th
2nd Session: April 2nd to April 19th
3rd Session: April 23rd to May 10th
Classes are held Monday through Thursday for three weeks from 5:30-6:00pm or 6:10-6:40pm
The first night of each session children that don’t know their level will be tested so they are in their appropriate levels. There are a limited number of spaces available; classes are filled on a first come first serve basis. Minimum age requirement is 4 years old.
COST: $50.00 Per Session
PARENTS & TOT SWIM CLASSES
April 3rd to May 3rd
Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:50-5:20pm.
This class is available for children 6 months to 4 years old. Each child must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Water adaptation and basic water skills depending on the child’s abilities will be taught.
COST: $45.00
ADULT LEARN TO SWIM CLASSES
This class will only be held if we have enough interest.
Cost $60.00
DEEP AND SHALLOW WATER AEROBICS
March 12th to May 10th
Monday & Wednesday, (DEEP WATER) classes begin at 6:45pm (55 minute class)
This is a 55 minute mid to high energy cardiovascular and muscular endurance class in the deep water. Water equipment is used in the toning portion of the class along with flotation belts.
Tuesday & Thursday, (SHALLOW WATER) classes begin at 6:45pm (55 minute class)
This is a 55 minute mid to high level class that offers a cardiovascular workout. Will have to use pool ladder to enter and exit pool.
COST:
2 NIGHTS PER WEEK $50.00
3 NIGHTS PER WEEK $70.00
4 NIGHTS PER WEEK $85.00
COMPETITIVE STROKE CLINIC
April 28th to June 2nd
Saturdays 10am to 12pm
$40.00 or $10.00 per day
PRE-SUMMER SWIM CLINIC
June 4th to June 8th
Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm
ELITE SWIM CLINIC
May 7th to June 6th
Monday / Wednesday
8:00 to 9:30pm
$25.00
RECREATIONAL SWIMMING
March 16th to May 11th (CLOSED March 30th)
Fridays from 7:00pm – 8:30pm
(The pool will be cleared 10 minutes before closing)
Rec Swim is provided for Muhlenberg School District Residents ONLY of all ages. Proof of residency is required at all Recreational Swims. Memberships will be given to those who wish to join for the session. Otherwise, the cost is on a daily basis. Children 12 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
NO NON-RESIDENT GUESTS.

POOL RENTALS
The pool is available on most Saturday and Sunday afternoons for birthday parties and or pool rentals. Professional certified lifeguards are provided. Please call 610-921-8078 ext 4223 or email Connie Hillbish at hillbishc@muhlsdk12.org for information. Rental is by hourly time slots.
